DIRECTIONS: Drive to the top-left corner of Scotland... Stop

The tiny hamlet of Polin (pop. about 30) lies almost at the end of the road that leads to Cape Wrath. It is ten minutes drive from the fishing port of Kinlochbervie on the North-West coast of Sutherland.

Just follow the road past the port to Oldshoremore, then you are only one beach away from Polin, also known as Oldshorebeg. The little red postbox at the junction marks the turn left down to the beach car park. You will find our house on the hill right above the car park.

To go to Sandwood Bay, you just return to the junction five minutes away and go left briefly up the road to the Sandwood bay car park. It's 4 miles on foot only from here!
